Days Of Wine and Roses

In 1975 Tony Bennett and Bill Evans collaborated on an LP of sublime beauty which soon came to be recognised as a masterpiece. Award winning vocalist Jonathan Cairney and pianist Euan Stevenson explore the story behind this classic recording.

From the suburbs of Napoli to the alleyways of Genoa, an evening of tarantella and pizzica, dances songs and stories, a glimpse into sounds and smells of Italy and the Mediterranean.

The Bicycle Thieves - 45 mins

International 6-piece collective The Bicycle Thieves play an eclectic and lively set of jazz and world music hand picked from the musical vaults of Italy, France and beyond.

Will Pickvance and Friends - 45 mins

Carnivalesque cartoon cabaret, music and comedy from Will Pickvance plus some very special guests - 'like squeezing the Albert Hall into the Rose and Crown'.

£4.00 Tickets at the door. Doors open 7pm, show starts at 8pm and finishes at 10.30pm.

For writer and journalist Roddy Martine photography has been the hobby of a lifetime; this exhibition brings together a selection of snapshots of some of the larger than life characters he has photographed down the years.

Macpherson's Cave

Guaranteed to entertain and provoke, this will be an idiosyncratic multimedia exploration of Scotland's history, through fact, fantasy, myth and fable, from an award-winning young artist.
