It's that time of year again...and Edinburgh girds its collective skirts for the our favourite month in the calendar: crazy and exasperating maybe - but joyous, dynamic and stimulating too.
Here at Henderson's we're extending our opening hours across all our sites to help you re-fuel and re-fresh as you time make the most of the Festivals' bounty. We've got some shows to share too - with pride of place going to Linn Lorkin and her "trusical comedy" cabaret show every night in the Wine Bar at Hanover St.
We welcome New Zealand chanteuse Linn Lorkin to Henderson's to perform her all-original truesical comedy.
What happens when you're a shy kiwi muso arriving in the bustling Big Apple with no money and nowhere to live ? You end up in a piano-bar. And life's just beginning...
Through swinging original songs and wryly funny stories Linn Lorkin chronicles her adventures in a bygone New York as she sleeps on sofas, searches for true love and plays her way from rusty SoHo to ritzy Park Avenue.

"Adorable, classy, charming and fun...a definite treasure. The songs are simple, but bouncy and perfectly constructed...Linn's wealth of anecdotes, flawlessly recreating the 80's New York piano bar-scene in Edinburgh, are a delight."
