It is difficult to remember a time when the Salad Table was not at 94 Hanover Street.  Whilst the decor and menus have seen many changes over the years, the Henderson's principles have remained the same - to provide fresh, healthy, interesting and affordable meals and to encourage customers to nurture, energise and heal their bodies by eating a balanced diet from nature's ample larder.

More than a dozen freshly made salads created using a selection of crisp leaves, shoots, root vegetables, pulses, grains and fruits are constantly available at the counter, whilst tantalising aromas of hot vegetable crumbles, croquettes, curries and lasagnes carry the senses to far away lands.

Home-made chutneys, Scottish cheeses and our own home baked breads and oatcakes make the perfect compliment to any meal.

To complete your culinary adventure, our very own desert chef prepares a wide selection of deserts daily using fresh local produce.

Why not wash down your meal with a drink?  The Salad Table offers a variety  of drinks including freshly blended juices, beers, mineral water and a selection of wines that is sure to satisfy the most discerning of palates - vegan, organic, and non-alcoholic varieties also available.
